Itsekiri Nation Announces Change of Venue for Grand Reception of Tinubu, Oborevwori in Warri
The Itsekiri Nation has officially announced a change of venue for the highly anticipated grand reception and celebration in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
According to the updated public announcement released by the organisers, the event will now hold at the revered Olu Palace, popularly known as Aghofen, in Warri.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, by 10:00 AM prompt.
The reception is described as a significant gathering aimed at celebrating and appreciating the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, while also reaffirming the unity and solidarity of the Itsekiri people.
