CITY BOYS MOVEMENT TAKES PROMINENCE IN WARRI SOUTH WEST.

The inaugural meeting of the City Boys Movement in Warri South West marked a significant step in grassroots political mobilization and organizational strengthening across the local government area. Held yesterday, the meeting brought together ward coordinators and directors from all wards within Warri South West, creating a unified platform for engagement, verification, and strategic planning.

A key highlight of the gathering was the formal verification of ward coordinators and directors, who were subsequently tasked with returning to their respective wards to establish fully functional executive structures. This move is expected to deepen the reach and effectiveness of the movement at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the event, the Senatorial Director of the City Boys Movement, Ernest Bebenimibo, commended the efforts of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sheriff Oborevwori, praising their contributions to governance and national development. He also highlighted the essence of the City Boys Movement, describing it as a strategic platform aimed at empowering young people, encouraging political participation, and promoting progressive leadership across all levels.

The Director of the Local Government Area, Emiko Odin-Etuwewe, further reinforced these sentiments by outlining key achievements of President Tinubu’s administration. He also applauded Governor Oborevwori for his leadership and commitment to the development of Delta State, noting that such leadership inspires the objectives and direction of the movement.

The meeting recorded full participation from representatives across all wards in Warri South West, reflecting strong grassroots support and enthusiasm for the initiative. Attendees described the event as impactful, well-coordinated, and a clear indication of the movement’s growing influence.

Following the successful meeting, members of the movement paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Warri South West Local Government Council, Sylvester Oromoni, at his residence. During the visit, the City Boys Movement was formally introduced to the chairman, who warmly received the delegation.

Hon. Oromoni expressed his full support for the initiative, stating, “My doors are always open to support the City Boys Movement. Call me anytime when you need my support.” His endorsement further reinforces the movement’s acceptance and potential for collaboration with local government leadership.

Overall, the inaugural meeting stands as a major success, setting a solid foundation for the City Boys Movement in Warri South West and signaling the beginning of more coordinated political engagement and youth-driven initiatives in the region.
