The inaugural meeting of the City Boys Movement in Warri South West marked a significant step in grassroots political mobilization and organizational strengthening across the local government area. A key highlight of the gathering was the formal verification of ward coordinators and directors, who were subsequently tasked with returning to their respective wards to establish fully functional executive structures. Speaking at the event, the Senatorial Director of the City Boys Movement, Ernest Bebenimibo, commended the efforts of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sheriff Oborevwori, praising their contributions to governance and national development. He also highlighted the essence of the City Boys Movement, describing it as a strategic platform aimed at empowering young people, encouraging political participation, and promoting progressive leadership across all levels.
The Director of the Local Government Area, Emiko Odin-Etuwewe, further reinforced these sentiments by outlining key achievements of President Tinubu’s administration. He also applauded Governor Oborevwori for his leadership and commitment to the development of Delta State, noting that such leadership inspires the objectives and direction of the movement.

Following the successful meeting, members of the movement paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Warri South West Local Government Council, Sylvester Oromoni, at his residence. During the visit, the City Boys Movement was formally introduced to the chairman, who warmly received the delegation.
Hon. Oromoni expressed his full support for the initiative, stating, “My doors are always open to support the City Boys Movement. Call me anytime when you need my support.” His endorsement further reinforces the movement’s acceptance and potential for collaboration with local government leadership.
