Gbaramatu Kingdom History Announces 4th Indigenous Merit Award.

The Gbaramatu Kingdom History is set to host its 4th Gbaramatu Indigenous Merit Award (GIMA) – Entertainers Edition, an event celebrating outstanding contributions in entertainment from the Gbaramatu Kingdom and beyond.
The award ceremony is scheduled for 31st January 2026, at the Brivvy Event Centre, Jeddo, Delta State.
The red carpet will commence at 9:00 AM prompt, followed by the main event at 11:00 AM prompt.
The event will feature notable personalities including:
His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II, Aketekpe! Agadagba! Pere of the Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom – a prominent traditional ruler of the kingdom.
High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizeide Ekpemupolo – Spiritual Father of the Day.
High Chief (Dr.) Godspower Gbenekama JP (Fiyewei of the Ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom) – Father of the Day.
Engr Michael Tonlagha – Chairman of the Day.
This edition of the Indigenous Merit Award aims to honor entertainers who have made remarkable contributions in their fields, promoting cultural heritage, creativity, and excellence.
