The Itsekiri National Council (INC) held its pioneer meeting on 25 November 2025, presided over by Hon. Bobby Omadeli.
During the deliberations, Council affirmed and celebrated the establishment of the Ugbajo Itsekiri Youths, inaugurated by His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, The Olu of Warri. The INC described the initiative as historic, visionary, and impossible to replicate, noting that it represents a renewed commitment to unity, cultural identity, and structured youth engagement across Iwere land.
Hon. Bobby Omadeli emphasized that the Ugbajo Itsekiri Youths structure is a strategic intervention aimed at nurturing responsible leadership, strengthening socio-cultural values, and empowering young people to contribute meaningfully to community development.
The INC also reiterated its unwavering support for His Majesty’s continuous efforts toward peacebuilding, socio-economic advancement, and the preservation of Itsekiri heritage.The Council called on all Itsekiri sons and daughters via E.O.E to key into this new wave of positive transformation and uphold the values that define the identity of the Itsekiri Nation.
