IOF Visits Senator Gbenga Daniel, Seeks Legislative Support for Warri Federal Constituency.
The Itsekiri Omoluabi Forum (IOF) has paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, to formally brief him on critical issues affecting the Warri Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
During the engagement, the IOF delegation highlighted concerns bordering on representation and the protection of Itsekiri interests within the Senate. In his response, Senator Gbenga Daniel expressed a clear willingness and commitment to defend and advance Itsekiri interests, particularly in view of the perceived absence of committed representation on key issues affecting the Itsekiri people at the Senate.
Senator Daniel further assured the Forum of his readiness to sensitise other South-West and Yoruba Senators on the need to remain vigilant and responsive to matters concerning the Itsekiri nation, with a view to promoting fairness, equity, and justice in legislative processes at the National Assembly.
The Itsekiri Omoluabi Forum welcomed the assurances given and described the engagement as a strategic step toward strengthening legislative advocacy for the Warri Federal Constituency.
The Forum reiterated its commitment to sustained dialogue, principled engagement, and peaceful advocacy in pursuit of the collective interests of the Itsekiri people.
