Nigeria — The Itsekiri Omoluabi Forum has extended warm congratulations to Mr. Reno Omokri, former Presidential Aide and co-founder of the Forum, on his recent nomination as an Ambassador by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the Forum’s President, Mr. Patrick Doyle, and Secretary, Emiko Odin-Etuwewe, the organisation described the appointment as “a well-deserved honour and a clear acknowledgement of years of tireless service, unwavering patriotism, and steadfast commitment to national development.”
The Forum noted that during his tenure as a presidential aide, Mr. Omokri distinguished himself through dedication, clarity, and strong responsibility toward the Nigerian populace.
The statement reads in part:
“As a former presidential aide, you demonstrated uncommon dedication and contributed meaningfully to national conversations on governance, democracy, and accountability. Your vocal advocacy on issues that shape the survival and strengthening of our democracy has consistently shown your passion for a better Nigeria.”

The Forum also commended Mr. Omokri’s contributions both within and outside the country, highlighting his role in strengthening national discourse and promoting democratic values.
“Your efforts have been recognised at the highest level, and it is fitting that you have been called to serve in this new capacity.”
The Itsekiri Omoluabi Forum expressed confidence that Mr. Omokri will bring his trademark passion, integrity, and excellence to his ambassadorial role.
